Are you saying he put the railcard on an unregistered Oyster card? The guy
at St James's Park wouldn't let me do that.

Whether the reduced cap actually works I've yet to find out, as I
didn't make enough tube journeys today to reach the limit, but I
probably will do in a few days time.

Ah, I'm in that boat and likely to take far longer before I find out if it
works. I mostly cycle in London though last Saturday I used buses. It
could be some time before I have a day with enough tube travel to think of
capping.
