They were busy digging up Centraal in August 2009 and the first couple
of gates were already in place, at the eastern end of the station near
the left luggage.

I almost never use that entrance. Just the one closest to the IBIS.

For reasons I won't bore you with, I was staying near the station, but
had two days of meetings back at the airport, so I was in and out
several times over a four day period!
