Default New tube map - Apr edition

The central Thameslink route, between London Bridge/ E&C and Kentish

Town (but not beyond), was shown on Tube maps in years past, as was
the Great Northern Electrics route between Moorgate and Finsbury Park
(aka the Northern City line). For whatever reason they were dropped -
several possible explanations spring to mind e.g. frequency, speed,
hours of operation, usefulness, and levels of crowdedness - I imagine
the decision to omit them out was an amalgam of several
considerations.

Since the Northern City Line used to be a Tube line, retaining it for
an
extended period was a a no brainer.

This issue is complicated - one could argue for the inclusion of

several suburban rail services, e.g. Shenfield locals (on the Great
Eastern), London Bridge to East/West Croydon locals, trains between
Clapham Jn and both Victoria and Waterloo. All sorts or arguments have
and will continue to be made!

Now Oyster PAYG is universal I would suggest adding back a basic
skeleton
(not all stations) of frequent services - the apparent isolation of
Clapham
J is particularly weird.

So Richmond - CJ - Vauxhall - Waterloo
Croydon Tramlink
Victoria, CJ and LB to Croydon stations (given the ELLX addition to
LO).
