People's Palace, in Mile End Road (promising "Continental Films, every Sun,
7.30" and a "Pantomine at Xmas, seats 1/6d to 2/6d" (station Stepney Green);

I think this must now be Genesis, although I've been told that the
building (looks a bit like a Menorah) opposite Mile End station is on
the site of a cinema.

Genesis was the Empire cinema, the one opposite your station was the
Odeon.

The People's Palace was next to Queen Mary's at Bancroft Road.
