I show my Oyster to the person selling me the ticket, although they've
never
bothered to check (even on the rare occasion they do issue a BZ2).
Once
upon a time I would have been able to show my record card, but these
days
I'm on monthlys and so have nothing to show.

Next time I request such a ticket I'll see what happens, and if the
answer is
still no will drop an email to NXEA.
