You know it's the fire alarm I suppose? Why did it stop - probably
because someone reset whatever was causing the false alarm.

I suppose so. Nothing much then.

Not that unusual an occurrence. The 'Inspector Sands' PA announcement is but
an early stage in the fire alert procedure.
