They would be a very inexperienced employer in that case.

We're not talking about some cultural loyalty, we're talking about whether
it is reasonable to expect such a person to have the loyalty adhere to a set
of rules (rules which you seem to think are draconian and I do not - but
only when taking into account the salary level)
