He was the party's candidate in Hornchurch & Upminster in last year's
general election but otherwise appears to have mainly built up his profile
internally.
Given the scope of this ng, the nearest to a transport policy expressed in
his published primary manifesto is a desire to keep the ice cream van on the
roads. Otherwise his post-selection release includes a pledge to restrict
the extension of the Low Emissions Zone.
Considering half the issues on his list are not ones the Mayor of London has
power over (immigration, EU legislation) I doubt UKIP is going to bring that
many key issues into the election.
