reactors. Unfortunately this technology is considered politically
incorrect. It may be possible to have thorium reactors small enough
to power a road vehicle. Thorium reactor/electric powered railroad
locomotives seem entirely possible, But the eco wariors prefer
windmills. They also like solar panels which consume considerable
energy during manufacture. And do not mention biofuels, these have
caused food shortages as farmers grow corn for fuel instead of food
for livestock.

Unfortunately there are many in the green movement who are against pretty
much everything. If you mention nuclear they jump up and down and shout
about windfarms and then another lot will jump up and down and complain
about windfarms killing the lesser spotted snot gobbler when it flies into
the blades at night. You can't win.
