Default Musical Experiment?

What an appalling idea. (Using music as a deterrent)

Why? The loudness and style of music in numerous central London bars has
longed deterred many of their potential customers.

Although Spring played constantly while I was held in a queue for a
help-line did put me off Vivaldi for a while....

Try a shift with continual Wozzek or the anguished screams in Pierrot
Lunaire coming out of the Tannoy and you will soon see how music could
be a deterrent - music, like drama and painting, can be intentionally
seriously scary.

(mmm ... some of the more abrasive output of the New Manchester School
could prove very effective in clearing a station in an emergency
