Now I'm confused again. I thought Oyster was only for use on the Tube
& DLR? At least, that's what the adverts infer.....
It is Oyster PrePay that is only available on the Tube and DLR.
And the buses too - someone said that their Pre-Pay Oyster worked on a bus.
Oyster Pre-Pay is not officially valid for travel on buses yet. Some
routes are charging the correct 70p fare, but others aren't, with 1p
and 55p being recently spotted variations.
Admitedly I have used my Oyster Pre-Pay on buses, and am generally
charged 70p so am not too worried. I wonder what a RPI would do if
someone was found with a Pre-Pay fare debited at less then than 70p?
Cheers,
Jason.
