Not any more. Evening peak restrictions only apply to GA Super-Off Peak
tickets, now available on weekdays, and not to Off-Peak tickets via the
West Anglia Route including Tottenham Hale.
There's conflicting information online. Journey planners suggest the
Off-Peak Day Return isn't valid in the evening peaks on either route,
but looking at the BRFARES site they say it's a B1 which doesn't have
any evening restrictions on either route (but I'm sure no-one thinks
they are valid from Kings Cross).
I haven't looked anything up, but it sounds like you're both talking
at cross-purposes - you're talking about the *any permitted* Off-Peak
Day Returns, Colin's talking about the (cheaper) *GA-only* Off-Peak
Day Returns.
My point is that, whatever the ticket, there are no evening peak
restrictions on the West Anglia route. This was announced with the extension
of Super Off-Peak validity to weekdays (with evening peak restrictions).
Meanwhile they seem to agree over the Off-peak period return, with an
evening blackout of 1628-1835 on both lines.
True.
