came up to me and whispered:

I'm puzzled how Roland ever connects to wifi. Most seems to
need a browser.

I connect to several different wi-fi services when out and about - my
phone WIFI software knows how to be a "browser" without any involvement
from me, and just clicks into the service that's available, even if a
Username and Password is needed.
