improving
the air quality in London even further.
Rather than just tightening up his insistence on low-emission engines
being
phased in, it is believed the mayor will press for all vehicles entering
the
clean-air zone to be powered by hot air.

"Fight like the Devil, die like a gentleman."
As Boris Johnson has continued Ken Livingstone's policy of impeding road
traffic movement in London, he has zero credibility when he pretends he
cares
about air pollution.
It cannot be stated too often that the reason London's air has
deteriorated
over the past thirteen years is that two grossly irresponsible Mayors
have
encouraged TfL to damage London's road system. It also needs to be
repeated endlessly that the easiest way to reduce air pollution in
London is to
keep road traffic moving.
How would you build Crossrail without disrupting traffic round the station
and tunnel construction sites?
As you well know, that was not what I was referring to. Let me ask you
a question. Why did you try to divert attention away from the main issue
with this silly red herring?
