The thing about this is the bridge is 3.6m in height and the direction it was travelling in has three signs stating that, one on each side of the road before the bridge and one on the bridge itself. Luckily no-one passengers were on board.
No passengers on board because it was not in service - which is when
many such incidents happen (driver trying to take a quick way to the
start of the route / back to the depot, and not realising their bus
won't fit - that or forgetting they're driving a double decker rather
than a single).
