the reasons they did away with the bendies.


I think that was used as an excuse. I suspect the real reason was that boris
saw an easy way to make his mark by doing so and because he was having his
ear bent by a small but vocal minority of cyclists who for some reason thought
they were the 4 horsemen of the highway, though getting rid of them hasn't
stopped natural selection weeding out the idiots at junctions via lorries.
