They could leave a couple at Dalston junction. That looks reasonable secure.

They couldn't run much of a service with only two trains, plus the
trains may get cleaned/inspected/maintained in the depot overnight.
There's also the issue of getting drivers there and back. It seems
like a lot of complications for little benefit.
