Crossrail work at Whitechapel according to TfLs website.

And it's not to hell with the travelling public - they have rail
replacement buses, seemingly a vast number of them given how Cable
Street in Shadwell is stacked up at the moment (or by travelling public
do you mean the other road users and us residents?). (yes - I'm being
selfish again...)
