DLR or Jubilee line extension to Stratford International - two questions
(Jan) wrote in message . com...
Can you elaborate on what provision for pedestrian links to the CTRL
station is to be made? It strikes me as a hell of a distance to walk
with luggage. Are there plans for travelators or people-movers or is
Joe Publique expected to walk? Also, do you know if the route will be
along streets or segregated? I can't seem to find any detailed plans
for the station and would be very interested to find out more.
I suggest you look at the Tfl DLR websites detailing the proposed DLR
options.
Option three basically follows the existing freight loop from the NLL
to the Lea Valley junction at Temple Mills. Chelsfield plc have a
proposal to develop the entire Stratford railway site, a large part of
this is owned bt CTRL, following completion of Stratford International
in 2006 - their web site

Follow
the projects menu to "Stratford City" - look for the aerial
representation of the completed development in the images section. You
are right - in the absence of either a JLE or DLR link it does look a
good walk.
