No premium now on the Heathrow Piccadilly Line extension but there
was after 1977 precisely to contribute to construction costs.


Was there? How much was it? I don't recall paying more back then, but
that was before zonal fares.


It was stated at the times that the fares upon opening would be higher than
they might have been to include a contribution towards the construction
costs. That's all I remember.
