Default Catford question

In article , Clive D. W.
Feather writes

However, Catford Bridge to Catford is sort of shown on one of the maps,
and I think it would be accepted as part of a "shortest route" if it
made the route significantly shorter.

In fact, the NR "London Connections" map shows the two stations
as "Interchange Stations" joined by a thick black line (although
they are one or two hundred yards apart, along a main road, and
one is on a line under that road and the other on a line over
the road, so a lot of stairs are involved; allow *at least* five
minutes). I have never seen a ticket inspector at either, and
there are no gates, so the question is moot.
