I haven't used Epsom for years, but I seem to remember being there 9-9:30
pm on occasion coming back from Guilford and having to change for Sutton
and the far side (furthest from the ticket office) platform was regularly
closed off. Can't remember which direction that served.

The main staff office is located on the double platform, and given
the oiks that hang around Epsom I can see why they'd want to close of the
far platform.
