Default Oyster pre-pay on Buses from 2 January

I've tried several local newsagents' in the last few days and none of them
will sell me more than one book of Saver tickets. Surely this isn't allowed
if they have them?

Definitely a good time to stock up on £0.70 Saver Tickets. They'll still

be good in the new year.

That's if you can still find any. An article on London Tonight in the week
claimed newsagents have stockpiled tickets bought at the old rate and are
telling customers they've run out of them. They said it was unlikely you'd
find any available for sale until the price rise comes into effect.

Bit of poor planning by TfL not throttling the supply in the run-up to the
new fares, the extra cash would be better off going on the transport
system,
not to the ticket agent.
