You might be surprised. OK, I only did it for about 3 months, but the
annual cost of my season ticket was probably about 1.5-2 grand (term
time only) had I done the whole thing. This was from Ormskirk,
Lancashire to Manchester, and approximately a 1.5 hour journey with 2
main legs (either changing at Liverpool, the Burscoughs or Preston).
