Hello!
Somebody can help me?
I would like to spend some days in London in March and I have found a
hotel in Bugsby Way, 0,7 miles from north greenwich station. I dont
know that zone and that hotel. I only need a good location to take
buses and tube.
The hotel is called Holiday Inn Express Greenwich. Somebody know this
place, and could help me?
I need to know if its easy to take public transport and if itīs a
dangerous place....
Thank you
Edurne
It's shown on this map:
http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...10000&icon =x
It's nearest to North Greenwich Tube station - about 20 mins walk at an
average speed, or about 5 minutes on the bus - 422 from outside the
school/health centre on the other side of roundabout. North Greenwich is
on the Jubilee line, about 20 minutes from Westminster.
I'm not sure how dangerous the area is - I don't think it's particularly
bad as it's quite a new area. However, the Holiday Inn there seems to be
designed with the car in mind.
Holiday Inn Express have other more convenient locations which are
probably cheaper or the same price. Limehouse is close to the DLR
station which will take you into Bank/Monument Tube quickly for a number
of different Tube lines. It's also near to Canary Wharf which is quite
pleasant.
Make sure you check their other locations too like Southwark which is
very central, or Hammersmith which has a quick journey by Piccadilly or
District line to many sights.
