I usually pay about £28 to book a (private hire)
minicab from Zone 3 (South) to Gatwick.

Minicabs do airport runs ridiculously cheaply. I think that they do it at a
loss, just to con people into thinking that minicabs are cheaper than black
cabs, but if you look at the prices they charge to other parts of London,
they aren't cheaper than black cabs at all.
