IMHO, Hammersmith is a best-practice example of what can be achieved at
a bus station.
Except when you're waiting for half an hour for an N10 (-Richmond)
listening to that same 2 minutes of piano music played over and over -
I keep expecting it to say "Your bus journey is important to us so
please continue to hold and a bus will be with you as soon as possible"
LOL! At least you can wait inside for your bus to come. I always freeze
my bits off waiting for night buses at Trafalgar Square or King's Cross.
I did wonder the other day whether it would be feasible, at busy outside
stops, to install heaters like those ones they use in pub gardens. It
might have a small added benefit of safety in numbers and slightly
faster journeys by attracting people to a particular bus stop rather
than spreading along consecutive bus stops. (Does that make any sense?)
