Public transport in SE London.

Is it just me or does it seem like someone at the top of TfL has it in for
the Borough of Bromley?
With the excellent rail service to London (fast services from from Bromley
South and Orpington), it is surely your northern neighbours in Bexley who
should be moaning...
But then again, I don't necessarily want to see *more* public transport
here, just better *quality* public transport. I am fed up with noisey,
empty buses thundering all over the borough at night just polluting the
place because TfL have an obsession with frequency and zero regard for the
state of the infrastructure. I would love TfL to halve evening bus
frequency and provide two staff per bus - and that would be a clean bus with
no old food and drink containers strewn across it and without groups of
mindless vandals scratching the windows on the top deck.
I look at this way - if you want "city centre" levels of public transport,
then move to "proper" London, not the fringe boroughs where most people see
themselves as living outside London anyway.
