I've shamelessly pinched the idea of this post from a post on
uk.railways by Tony Sayer. Here is a link to his original post:

If your mobile was stolen/found by someone particularly vindictive then
I guess it could also cause a bit of trouble, but I don't think that
negates the positive aspect of the concept.

NOT such a clever idea for Nokia users (maybe others too).

If you save the same number under two different names (like Girlfriend and
ICE), then caller ID gets confused and no longer displays the name of the
person calling because it now has a choice of two, just their number...

Also, your G/F may take some convincing that you haven't nicknamed her
ICEqueen.

All those In Car Entertainment shops are going to get ****ed too.

I'm sure medics are clever enough to flick thru a phone and look for MUM
or DAD rather than **** about with ICE!

As mentioned by a mate of mine, he wouldn't want medics calling Mum or Dad.
Dad being dead and Mum being a dribbling mess. But he does have people who
can be called.

The two are two other options. Firstly, you could add an extra didgit to the
end of the number. Not sure this is 100%, but could be a good way round it.

Secondly, you could just add instructions. I've taken this route. I've saved
a fake number e.g. 12345 and save it as 'ICE - call any smith' .. Smith
being the name of the person you want called.

Job done.
