Basically cui bono?

Obviously the people that stand to benefit from a continuing
Palestinian/Israeli conflict which is just a subset of the struggle to
control Middle-Eastern oil. Basically the status quo; which
unfortunately we are all part of in some form or fashion. In other
words we are collectively resistant to change and/or are ignorant of
how to bring that change about.
