That's the point. It's mostly a Network South East issue.

Don't you get one day Travelcards for trips to London? Don't you have
a Network Card giving you discounts on all rail travel except on LU?


I have a Network Card, yes. But the only time it is ever worth me
getting a Travelcard from my home-town is between 8 and 10 on a weekday
*and* I intend to make more than a couple of journeys in the capital.
Otherwise SET PriceBuster + Oystercard is cheapest for me.
