Default North Finchley bus station

... seems to have been permanently closed to pedestrians
about six months
after it opened, and replaced by the reinstatement of the old
bus stop in
Kingsway. Does anyone know the full story here?

The local newspaper is full of the on-going story - it started in
November after someone died after being hit by a bus
(http://www.barnettimes.co.uk/search/...plea_for_inqui
ry_into_bus_station_death.php) and the subsequent stories into why the
station continued to be used when it was apparently poorly designed.
