So err where are all these fuel cell powered laptops then? And where are
all the fuel cell powered cars that we were going to be swamped with. After
all it's over two years since we were assured that these devices were going
to be everywhere.
Oh yes, anyone going to lay bets on what will happen if you try to take a
fuel cell powered computer onto an aeroplane?
Panasonic demonstrated a fuel cell-powered laptop at CES in January.
The ban on taking methanol onto a plane is one of the main reasons why
a commercial release has been delayed, and there's little prospect of
that being solved until next year. There's nothing unusual about
products being delayed.
