Probably about the same as a 747 I would have said - I was expecting it
to be significantly quieter. But the strongly gusting cross-winds may
have caused a problematic approach. As you mentioned, there were some
"interesting" approaches to Heathrow yesterday afternoon - almost
crab-like in some cases - I was in the garden trying to retrieve the
roof that had blown off my bike shed
