I'm using the Bakerloo northbound from Baker St. quite often these days
and I have been thinking about Baker St. station.

I can remember when the Bakerloo used to split at Baker Street into the
Queens Park and Stanmore Branches. Then along came the Fleet Line,
which changed its name to the Jubilee. Looking at Baker Street now, it
must have been a hell of an engineering job to get the new line through.

The northbound Bakerloo appears to be almost on top of the southbound
Bakerloo and I assume the Jubilee lines are similar (can't see how it is
all supported - but then I'm not a structural engineer!)

Can someone tell me -

1) What was the arrangement of the Bakerloo at Baker Street before the
Jubilee - I assume it branched off in different directions north of
Baker Street, but were the northbound and southbound on different levels
then?

2) What are the connections between the Bakerloo and Jubilee at Baker
Street, if any? I notice going north from Baker St. a line goes off to
the left - where does this go - to the Jubilee (which was on the right)
or the Bakerloo southbound?
