Not any more. You'd be surprised how close to traditional
monochrome printing costs full colour is these days.
Are you talking about professional printing
(where the setup costs make up a large percentage
of the total will be the same for both)
or DIY photocopying?
ITYF that DIY colour photocopying is still 10 times the
cost of B/W.
Printing to what was more than a professional standard only a few years
ago has been greatly de-skilled by digital technology. It is true that
the highest quality work is still best performed by traditional
technology.
