What's the point of that, then?

It's cheaper to leave a turntable that was big enough to turn
previous stock around in place than rip it out?

However, ISTR that it was removed during the closure... but you'd
be foolish to rely on my memory.


The turntable was a for coal wagons when the line had a coal fired power
station, the wagons cam down on a separate lift.
