When we last came up about two years ago there were ticket machines at

No they are still there, the difference is the price of the tickets. A
cash single from a road-side ticket machine now costs £2.

In fact that is what I think the price was last time, so nothing has really
changed then.

I believe it would have been £1.20 for a cash single then.
