Well actually a few weeks ago I was working on a map that did just
this. The idea is that a cross platform interchange is as almost as
good as a through journey, so should be shown the same.

This is very good! I would suggest that between Earls Court and Acton Town,
the express line should be straight and the stopping line should be bendy,
rather than them being equally bendy ... and something similar on the
Met/Jubilee. The other thing is that the interchange slobs are not prominent
enough, meaning that it's not that easy to work out a route from A-B at all,
never mind the most convenient route.
It feels German to me, but I'm not sure why.
