Murphy, Former General Manager Southern & Western, Iarnród Éireann
Steve Murphy arrived in Ireland in 2004 to inherit a railway rapidly
being modernised after being starved of investment for a long period.

replacement programme, and Ireland now has the most modern rolling
stock fleet in Europe . This transformation has brought tremendous
challenges and has unlocked the potential of the superb people
operating Iarnród Éireann. Steve will give a personal insight into
this transformation and what the future holds for Iarnród Éireann.
