No idea but it is noticeable that much of the effort is being North
of the Thames at present.


I find that curious, given that SWT are the TOC with the earliest
smartcard ticketing franchise commitment.


Apparently much of the delay is because SWT won't implement payg until
Waterloo is gated, Also as many articles in Modern Rail have pointed out,
SWT are required by the DfT to run an ITSO based system, not an extension to
Oyster, and it apparently isn't proving to be easy to make a regional bus
and library ticket system work on a railway.
