does anyone know if First Capital Connect are or are going to have class
377's on the thamesink route.

Yes - the 12 extra units ordered recently (to allow the last of the 319s to
transfer to FCC/Thameslink) and a number of existing trains (yet to be
decided) will be transferred to the Thameslink route Dec 08; they will allow
for the through running of Southeastern services from Sevenoaks, (apparently
to Kentish Town) following the closure of the Blackfriars bay platforms.
Some Southeastern units will also transfer to Southern temporarily in
exchange.

However the latest DfT plan suggests the 377s will move back to Southern
eventually, once the newly developed Thameslink stock arrives in a few years
time.
