Can oyster payg be used from london bridge into woolwich or london
bridge to victoria? those are journeys I could be making often in the
summer.
No.
The only mainline (aka National Rail) routes on which you can use
Oyster PAYG are shown on this map (PDF):
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/assets/downloa...G-08-01-02.pdf
The above map should get updated fairly soon to reflect the upcoming
availability of Oyster PAYG between Paddington and Ealing Broadway, in
which case the new map will be linked to from the following TfL
webpage:
http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/oysteronline/6369.aspx
Basically south London is an Oyster PAYG no-go zone. One day over the
rainbow things will be different, but I think we've still got a while
yet to go.
As ever when using Oyster PAYG, remember to always touch-in and out -
something to particularly bear in mind when entering or exiting
ungated stations.
Thanks for that, back to paper tickets for me then
