The White City station opened in 1947 was a rebuild, admittedly on
a slightly different site, of Wood Lane station and is in Wood
Lane. The old H&C White City was nearer the old Wood Lane than
that White City and the new Wood Lane is nearer to White City
station than the old White City H&C station was.

My head's just exploded.

Between the current Goldhawk Road(h) and Latimer Road(h), and
Shepherds Bush(c) and White City(c) there have been 9 stations at
various points of time.

But none of them exploded.
