Yes, I've seen the name for a long time, but never consciously
heard anyone say it. But then it might be one of those names like
Shi-vaughn (aka Sigh-Oban) that's so different you don't even marry
them up.


On reflection in an idle moment earlier today on my way back from the
Parliamentary Pass Office I think it's just a standard silent "W", like
in "wright" or "wring".
