I'm guessing you live in Thamesmead, where they are (were?) no physical bus
stops because they were regularly stolen and sold as scrap aluminium.

Thamesmead has loads of bus stops. Many of us would say too many.

The real problem is not enough buses - and the wrong kind. Single door
for entry and exit in an area with a large population of young mothers
with buggies at all times of the day - including AM and PM peaks - is
just a nightmare.

And of course Boris has just axed the Greenwich Waterfront Transit -
about which I will be starting another thread shortly.
