district line closing time

I think Colin Rosenstiel basically covers everything. I would be
somewhat minded to avoid changing at Edgware Road - those times I have
done so I've found it confusing and seen many others looking rather
befuddled, and I'm not really one to get confused by such things! To
avoid doing this, as Colin says you can take a Circle line train to
Paddington, alight and then wait for a District line train to
Wimbledon which will take you to Fulham Broadway. Note that the Circle
line only has a frequency of every 10 minutes though.
I agree that signing at Edgware Road these days can be sub-optimal but
finding and catching the first train to Wimbledon isn't that hard. It will
be at one of the two platforms on the inside faces of the two islands. You
will arrive on the westbound outside face.
However, Mizter T is correct that it is much easier to change at
Paddington if the first appropriate train at Kings Cross St Pancras is a
Circle Line train.
What neither of us have said is to avoid any Metropolitan train at Kings
Cross St Pancras. They all turn off at Baker Street. Let them pass.
