I spotted one of these in the wild today, on the NLL platform at
Highbury & Islington:

The standalone validators near the top of the escalators, and on the
Victoria Line platforms are still yellow - though I wouldn't be
surprised if they changed colour over the weekend.
I don't think the validators on the Victoria line platforms will change
as this would open up a loophole in the system. Passengers could jump
off, touch the validator and jump back on and get charged the not via
zone 1 fare even though they went via zone 1. It will still be possible
to cheat the system by going to the NLL platforms and back but this
requires greater effort.

The validators at the top of the escalators at Highbury & Islington
now have labels over them saying "do not use", although they are still
switched on. The validators on the Victoria line platforms now have
signs saying "for use only when changing to/from First Capital
Connect".
The anomalous validators on the DLR platforms at Bank seem to have
disappeared.
