advance works, and the reopened East London Line uses it.

The 'Multimap' aerial view shows it refurbished, and the adjacent viaducts

When was the original line closed, and what was it called?

It was part of the North London Railway, which ran into Broad St station
(next to Liverpool St Station, but since completely demolished and now
the site is an office complex)

(It's currently being tested with new trains; the route is due to re-

.... at the time of the line's closure. The original North London Railway ran
east-west through Dalston Kingsland station, and the lines to Broad Street
were called the City Extension.
