The quiet skies over London town

Normally on a day like this the sky over london would be a hazy fog of smeared
out vapour trails.


Not living in London, I can't comment. Don't get that much vapour
trailing up here in East Midlands.

Although the vapour trails are global-cooling (if that expression
exists) so aren't all bad.

The vapour trails over London are largely from flights between the
Continent and north America, and nothing to do with London as such. So
I'm surprised they're not visible over a much wider area. Perhaps you're
under an area without long distance paths?

They fly over here, but in a volume that is just a few streaks.
